Minor Night-Cap 6/6/11

SWB L 4-1

SWB Yankees lone run came in the bottom of the fourth when Jorge Vazquez hit his 19th homerun of the season.  Losing Pitcher was Mitchell who did have ten strike outs.  Mitchell gave up 3 earned runs on nine hits his record evens out at 4-4.

Trenton L 8-7 F12

In the top of the second Mack hit a two run homer scoring Gil.  In the top of the third the Thunder scored two runs again when Joseph and Suttle hit back to back homeruns.  In the top of the 5th Mujica hit a solo shot of his own.  Suttle came up again in the top of the 7th and hit another home run to left field. Pitching for Trenton tonight was Banuelos who had a rough outing.  He went four innings allowing two homeruns and five earned runs.

Tampa W 3-1

All the three runs that the Tampa Yankees needed to win came in the top of the first.  With one out Castro homered to left. Lyerly then walked and Z. Almonte came up next and homered. Black earned the win striking out two and giving up six hits improving his record to 4-5.

Charleston L 2-1

The lone run of the game happened in the top of the second when Sosa singled and Kyle Roller scored.  Ramirez pitched six innings and left with the win in hand but Forer blew his second save and took the loss going 1-4 on the season.
