Wally Matthews ponders how the Yankees may have been “robbed” in the awards this year.

— If you ever doubted Brian Cashman’s pure greatness, read this “article” of Matthews’ back-and-forth texts with the GM.

— I guess Matthews really needed a bunch of articles yesterday, so anyway, he warns Yankee fans about the idea of Bobby Valentine managing the Red Sox.

— Cashman ruled out the possibility of trading for Jurrjens because of concern about a serious knee injury. He also said they won’t be trading Nunez, but you never know if the right trade comes around.

— Some ex-Yankees praised the new labor deal, including the new HGH testing.
