Yankees viewed as front-runners for Yoenis Cespedes
by Mike D.
Via Frankie Piliere of Scout.com and FOXSports, many sources have pointed at the Yankees as the “clear front runners” for Cuban CF Yoenis Cespedes. As you know, the Yankees, Tigers, and Marlins have showed the most interest in the (supposed) 26 year old reportedly looking for $60MM. In 90 games in the 2010-2011 Cuban League season, Cespedes put up a .333 AVG / .424 OBP / .667 SLG line, with 33 HR, 99 RBI and 89 runs.
