Open Thread
Hello all here is an Open Thread to talk about whatever you want. Above is a picture of the stadium as of now as it is ready for the Pinstripe Bowl this Friday between Rutgers and Iowa St. I think it would be cool to see a football game at the stadium.
Talk about whatever is on your mind about the Yankee or the lack of moves they have done this off-season. Enjoy!!!
Spanning the Yankee Blogs
Like always I look up all the Yankee blogs and relay some of the best articles. Enjoy…..
* An A-Blog for A-Rod has another trade possibility to consider.
* Bleeding Yankee Blue has an article on why Jacoby Ellsbury could be a Yankee.
* Lohud talks about the 25 man roster.
* Pinstripe Alley wonders what we can learn from Jesus Montero’s September.
* River Ave Blues reports that the Yankees are going to wear their 1912 throwbacks for the Fenway Park 100th Anniversary.
* The Captain’s Blog wonders if the Yankees could trade Soriano for a starting pitcher, now that he has a two-year contract.
* The Yankee Analysts looks way ahead into the trade market.
* Yanks Go Yard is making a pitch for Whitey Ford.
Morning Bits: Kuroda, Prospects
Good morning everyone. Here are a few links on the day….
— Although the Yankees were reported to not be making a bid for Hiroki Kuroda, Wallace Matthews believes they are probably just bluffing.
— Josh Norris of the Trentonian has an array of articles with scout notes on a bunch of Yankee prospects: Jesus Montero, Manny Banuelos, Dellin Betances, Mason Williams, Corban Joseph, Angelo Gumbs, Cito Culver, Branden Pinder, and Bryan Mitchell.
Have a great day!
