  1. Saw Cano on the Jay Leno show last night! Totally…awesome! 🙂

  2. Hey Ballpark. I know there could be more than one using the same name but is your batting cage on Groupon now? I just got an email of deals and that was one of them. Hope all is well.

    Orioles To Sign Luis Ayala
    By Ben Nicholson-Smith [February 10, 2012 at 11:12am CST]

I’m glad Ayala was able to land a Major League Contract.

    • I saw that. Good for him.

He was great last yr although it pissed me when Girardi used him in the Detroit series in the 9th inning with game still close. Moronic move in a close game with a rested pen.

  4. I am excited about Dante Bichette Jr. I watched his Dad play for many years when I lived in Denver. Great player…very clutch….underrated.

I predict his son will be great….very great….

  5. Andre Ethier….Is he still a possibility for AJ….? What great DH /outfielder he’d be in New York

    • Not sure if he’s still a possibility, but Either would fit in well in the Bronx IF the A.J Burnett trade happens.

    • I’ve never heard Ethier mentioned as a possibility for AJ. I wish – but I don’t see LA giving up Ethier for AJ. Ethier is a very good hitter and LA already has 5 veteran starting pitchers so I don’t see a fit. Plus, AJ has a no-trade clause to 10 teams, all of which are on the West Coast because his wife has a fear of flying.

If Ethier is available now or at the deadline, the Yanks should be all over him. Depending on the season he has, Ethier may be a candidate for next yr since he’s a Free Agent this November.
