Most Yankees fans have taken in a game or two at Yankee Stadium, seen highlights of a young Don Mattingly, and have heard the story of the team’s dramatic run to the 1978 World Series. But only real fans know the Yanks origins as the Highlanders, were lucky enough to hear Mel Allen’s great calls,or have visited the Babe Ruth Museum in Baltimore.

100 Things Yankees Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die by David Fischer reveals the most critical moments and important facts about past and present players, coaches, and teams that are part of the storied history that is Yankees baseball. Scattered throughout the pages, you’ll find pep talks, records, and Yankees lore to test your knowledge, including:

§         Numbers with huge impact such as 3, 7, and 56

§         Famous nicknames like Babe, Iron Man, Louisiana Lightning and Yankee Clipper

§         The story behind the Bleacher Creatures and Roll Call

§         The infamous Peterson-Kekich family swap

Whether you’re a die-hard fan from the days of Casey Stengel and Mickey Mantle or a new supporter of Joe Girardi and Derek Jeter, this book contains all of the things Yanks fans should actually see and do in their lifetime.
