  1. Good to see Cano in the third spot again.

    • Why Matt? Batting 4th just makes to much sense imo. Girardi just can’t do anything right as he’s afraid to hurt veteran feelings.

      • sup george. I think I read he is going to flip flop the two depending on the pitching matchups.

        • Matt batting Cano 4th makes the most sense as he’ll have more runners on base. Secondly with less then 2 out an a runner on first teams shifting against him batting third will lead to a big increase in DP’s.

  2. I know Delia you must be screaming that Gardner is not in the lineup.

    • Actually, I’m fine with him not being in the lineup. Just because I won’t see him at the start of the game, doesn’t mean i won’t see him at the end. 🙂

      • good point you will most likely see him come in the game late if they are down or if it’s close to replace Jones on the base paths and/or defensive replacement.

  3. Aww!! Poor Gardy!!! 😦

  4. Why couldn’t Jeter run to third on that single? He is a lousy baserunner in his geriatric stage.

  5. hughes is working himself into being the odd man out when Pettitte returns. Way to many pitches.

    • Matt – Phil Hughes just plain STINKS! 8 innings so far this year with 3 homeruns given up plus one that just missed. He has a 9 ERA after 2 starts. Send the bum to the minors and let Phelps start.

      • i see nothing wrong with that he does have one more option left i believe. Let Phelps hold the fort down till Pettite comes back.

        • Matt they just have to keep Hughes under 55 or so days in the big leagues to control him for an additional 2 years instead of 1. I just want him gone for good. Maybe he has some trade value?

  6. 0-2 then walks Ianetta. Time to bring in Phelps to minimize the damage.

  7. Tweet….not good Hughes.
