  1. I got a couple of concerns about this series:

    1. Justin Velander: We can’t lie, Verlander is tough and when everything is working, the Yanks have trouble hitting him.

    2. Drew Smyly: The Yankees have never faced Drew Smyly before and we all know how it works out for the Yanks when it’s a pitcher they’ve never seen.

    3. Freddy Garcia: He has been downright awful all 3 of his starts. If he blows this one then I feel that Girardi needs to move him out of the rotation.

    4. Cabrera + Fielder: That’s like the new 3, 4 power combo in the lineup. They might be better than Hamilton & Beltre. Yankees can’t fall behind on these guys or else the balls could go over the right field porch.
