Morning Bits: Robertson, Soriano, Trenton Thunder, Jeter

Good morning all.  Yanks get a win but with some downside with a bunch of injuries.   Stay tuned to the site later as we will have the updates of all the injury news.  Same time same team tonight.

— Last night Girardi gave Soriano a save opportunity over Robertson who had soreness reports Mark Feinsand of The Daily News.   The Yankees are surely getting tested with injuries lately.

— Here is a good article from writer John Nalborne of The Star Ledger about the Trenton Thunder (AA) power surge that has manager Tony Franklin & the Yankee Brass pleased.

Wallace Matthews of ESPN NY writes that Robertson is not to concerned about his upcoming MRI.

— Last night Jeter passed Yount with hit # 3,143 writes Bryan Hoch of MLB.COM.
