Morning Bits: Rivera, Hensley, Subway Series, Draft

Led by a Ivan Nova’s stellar start the Yankees defeated the Rays 4-1 last night. The final game of the series is tonight and it will be C.C. Sabathia vs. David Price on the mound. Here are your morning links…

— Mariano Rivera’s blood clot is gone and he is scheduled to have surgery on his knee on Tuesday- about a month after he tore his ACL.

— The Yankees’ 1st round pick Ty Hensley is very excited to pitch for the team hopes to be pitching in the Bronx as soon as he possibly can.

— Tickets to see the Subway Series at Yankee Stadium have become less expensive than they used to be. They are also quite a bit cheaper than buying tickets to see the Subway Series at Citi Field.

MLB.com has a list of the Yankees’ 2012 draft picks with brief descriptions for all the players and video scouting reports for some of them.

Have a great day!
