  1. Double play for Jeter. ugh just retire already.

  2. Huge double play. Now time for some runs!!!!!

  3. Welcome back Swish!!!!!! (Twasp or Matt B.) should be all over me for that comment.

  4. The Pettitte setback really made me worried tonight. Not only is it unlikely he’ll return to the form he had prior to this injury, but now the rest of his season is in doubt. It was an incredible return to the Bigs and Andy was well on his way to a successful season for the Yanks. Girardi and Cashman have downplayed the “setback”, but either way Andy needs to get healthy soon and be the pitcher he was at the beginning, otherwise if we’re matched up in an ALDS or ALCS against the Angels’s fearsome four….oh boy….

  5. ugh that could of been the best chance of the night.

  6. I know Martin Homered today but you have to hit Ibanez for Martin here vs Aceves. Martin is hitting .155 vs RHP this yr

  7. Maybe Joe went with a gut call over numbers there? We often criticize him for not doing that enough.

    • Could be he didn’t want to waste his only LH bat and his backup Catcher in 1 move or that Martin was 3 for 5 with a HR against Aceves. But either way it worked!
