— The New York Daily News has the 911 audio from the Joba Chamberlain incident. In a time of distress, Chamberlain was pretty calm.

  1. Awesome to see some of the best prospects on the same team. This way they can gel together and work together. This team is going to be fun to watch.

  2. There appears now to be 23 players that will head north now for opening day on the Yankees roster w/Pineda on the DL.

Who will be the remaining 2 to make the cut so to speak:
Rapada – as the 2nd lefty for the bullpen
May be Mitchell or Warren as the “long” relief guy
Or may be another utility guy for the bench

I do think because of the Yankees heavy early schedule against some of the teams in their own division that have some very decent left handed hitter Rapada will be 1 of the 2. I also think they need a long relief guy. Wade while very good last season has not looked nearly as good this spring training at least in my opinion. So I guess my two choices to make the final cut would be Rapada and Mitchell. I think Warren shot himself in the foot with his last outing yesterday. We’ll find out soon enough.

  3. I agree with you I believe it will be Rapada and D.J. Mitchell.
